Sir Nicholas de Cantilupe
3rd Baron Cantilupe of Greasley and Ilkeston. Rose to power at the end of the reign of Edward II, and the beginning of the reign of Edward III. Fought at Halidon Hill and Crecy. Founded Beauvale Priory and Greasley Castle. Died in 1355/6, interred in the Cantilupe Chancel in Lincoln Cathedral.
